Any genealogy software that allows you to download a GED file for each family tree can be used. The GED file can then be uploaded to My Family Tree to generate the family tree in the website.
All uploaded photos get stored in a folder for each Family Tree on the owner's Google/One Drive and can be used in multiple locations e.g. portrait and part of a story.
Some genealogy software allows you to download all your photos into a folder. You can upload the photos in this folder in one block to your Google/One Drive.

All videos must be YouTube videos and you enter the reference into the video input field and the video will display.
All genealogy software keeps each family tree separate, so even if the same person is in more than one family tree, they are considered separate people.
The cost is A$5 per month to host each family tree. All of the photos associated with that Family Tree are stored on the owner's Google/One Drive even if another family member uploads a photo. The owner can invite other family members to join at no cost and request other family members to contribute to this monthly cost as a percentage of the total.
